What's a veggie detox? Well i usually prepare for these by 1.recounting how long its been since I've had anything healthy (more than 2 weeks or so). 2. Drinking the on the day I do this + the night before.
Now to answer the question above. My definition of a Veggie Detox is when you get a lot of veggies or the ones you have around, fresh of course; and cook em up one day and eat them whilst drinking a lot of water throughout the day. Today is THAT day. o..o Heh ok ingredient time~
1. Veggies of your choice, in my case i have: Broccoli, carrots, squash, onions, and garlic.
2. Chop the broccoli, squash and skin the carrots and chop into pieces. Onion + garlic dice however big or small you like and set aside.
3. With your veggies all chopped up set aside the squash because it cooks quickly. Add your broccoli and carrots to a pot add water and whatever seasonings you want to it to add some flavor to natural veggie goodness.
4. When your broccoli and carrots are done to your liking you can either transfer them to a bowl and add the squash to the left over water OR just add the squash and resume until squash is soft.
5. Add your chopped/diced onions + garlic to a pan with butter~ Cook until soft, browned, crispy, whatever the hell you like~
6. Add in the veggies to you cooked onions + garlic and add soy sauce~ once done enjoy~
Note: You switch anything here with whatever you like and/or think of. Get creative~ Ah in the pics I will be posting I cooked some pasta on the side sooo yeah don't be confused~
